Responsibilities for Construction Engineer

• Fulfill the role of a Construction Engineer for projects including water / sewer projects, building construction, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing construction. 

• Supervising and administering contracts, including the supervision of sub-contractors engaged by SVA. 

• Carry out site investigations, field tests etc and report findings to the clients and project leaders. 

• Acting as Client Point-of-Contact for all matters relating to any jobs/tasks for which you are assigned to. This demands the ability to consult and communicate effectively and in a proactive manner. 

• Liaising with clients on a routine basis to keep clients up to date with job progress. 

• Developing and maintaining positive relations with the surrounding community through effective meetings and communication.

• Passionately lead your team in the execution of their duties.

• Lead change confidently, striving for a 5-way win in all projects so that the owner, community, designers, contractors, and permit agencies are successful.

• Manage and motivate team members through positive and respectful leadership, and recognize them for a job well done.
